Time Management - My Secrets To Success

Time Management.

 

Something so many people talk about, read about, hear about, but not something everyone actually implements.

 

 

So I want this insight to be all about TAKING ACTION, being a GAME CHANGER and MAKING IT HAPPEN!! 

 

There is a real difference between intention and action and THAT is where the difference lies. 

 

1. Make a plan and stick to it!

When will you go live?  What days? What times?

Tell your tribe and make sure you stick to it. 

 

When will you post on instagram?

Plan your posts and save them own drafts - then you just post when you're ready! 

 

When will you record your podcast?

Pencil in the time to do it. 

 

This isn't a hobby. If you are building an empire, you have to take this seriously and stick to plans. All of them! 

If you are willing to give yourself excuses, your business will suffer. FACT. 

 

2. Have power time! 

Set yourself a specific time every day (depends on when you work best) and power through the small and simple tasks, as many as you can.

DM's

Commenting

Email tracking

 

Spend 30-60 minutes in a power time each day. Get the jobs done that seem trivial and simple, and do them quickly! Don't waste time on the small jobs, when you can then spend your time on the big golden nuggets that will change the world! 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Protect your time

You must have time each week where you aren't working on your business. If you don't, you will find time each day to be unproductive. 

If you know that Sundays is your lazy day, you will be much more likely to get everything done before Sunday and use that day as a reward to yourself for your hard work. 

 

If your friends want to see you and make plans, use your 'free time' to book things in. Don't double book yourself with social things and your business, because your business will always lose and you'll be the only one playing catch up. 

 

 

 

 

4. Be realistic with yourself from the get go.

If you know it takes you 15 minutes to write all your instagram posts - schedule that time in from the beginning. You work how YOU work and thats fine. 

 

Set yourself up for success and if you start with cutting time on tasks you know take you longer than you allow, you'll be chasing your tail before you even start. 

 

Chunk your time.

Go live on Facebook

Post on instagram 

Write an email to my list

Create a new blog

 

Then the order you do this in, is less important. Just the fact you can batch your time and work through your tasks within that time. 

 

5. Remember this is for you and your future. 

The more you put in, the more you will get back. 

 

If you take action, you will see progress, growth, development and success.
