Reiki - Other Methods To Help Our Minds Relax (Guest Interview)

- What is Reiki? 

 

To put it simply, “Rei” stands for the Universal field of Source energy and “Ki” represents the individual, personal energy field, (just like chi or prana).  Reiki is the process of connecting the individual energy field to the Universal field which can assist in balancing, aligning and raising energetic frequencies to bring the mind, body, emotions and spirit into harmony. 

 

 

- Who can benefit from Reiki? 

 

We can all benefit from reiki, it can be a peaceful experience for those looking to relieve stress or it can complement a health care regime for anyone experiencing poor health or pain. Everyone who is ready to relax and absorb the loving energy!

 

 

 

- Do you need to be spiritual to feel or revise use the positive impact it can have? 

 

Not at all, I can explain why in a really simple analogy. We are all instruments and have a unique sound, or frequency. Like any instrument we need to tune ourselves from time to time to stay in our optimal pitch, or state mentally, physically and emotionally. Reiki is the process of tuning the self and our internal vibration so that we can resonate in harmony with the orchestra of life. 

 

 

- How do you feel it can enhance happiness and calmness within us?

 

When we are returned to our natural state of being we are all happy and calm, we just have to polish off the stress of modern living which can alter our state on a daily basis. Reiki is a great technique to connect us back to our purest form of being, which is stress-free, happy and calm, just look at a baby or a puppy to see what we all are inside!

 

 

- Can Reiki benefit someone suffering with anxiety, depression or self doubt and how can they expect to see positive changes? 

 

Absolutely, during a Reiki session you can expect to feel very calm and this peaceful feeling will stay with you as you return to the outside world. The more often you get used to the sensation of total relaxation during a session, the easier it is to return to that state when you are not in a session. Lastly, the more “in tune” you become as a result of energy work, the less anxiety, doubt or depression you experience because your internal vibration has shifted. With this shift you can expect to see many positive changes in your life from altering conscious & subconscious  choices to creating and manifesting amazing opportunities.
